So theres no secret we have our own game preferences, that's all well an good, but it creates a darn headache when come to decide what games were playing in as a group.

For me No third person shooters, no futuristic bullshit with light saberistic gayzer lazer guns.

My preference is actually racing games F1, WRC, Need for speed, also zombie games, thriller horror type games prince of Persia was good (sands of time etc).
COD is actually not a bad army FPS until we hit ghosts that was pile of you know what that comes out of you know where and the look of advanced warfare um no sorry too futuristic bullshit that most games devs seem to wanking in their pants over at the moment. I don't mind a bit of platform gaming, but it does my head in after a while. Battlefield I got put off after BF2 bullshit.

Confusion don't like racing games, nor does foggy, **** that rules the crew to play as a group!!

foggy is into planetside and has put some good hours into it getting to lvl100 in the blue team, im not fussed with the futuristic aspect of the game, but its not so advanced it makes it look bullshit, I actually want to play it, but connection is a bust at the moment (going fiber at the the end of the month cant wait), but some people have not upgraded their PC since the last ice age and cant play it not naming no names here ahh feck it pauly you current system is about to melt time to throw some pennies at it so you pound the games current games, confusion tried it (we had to threaten to hack his steam and delete cod if he didn't) but he doesn't fancy it, its a shame as you really need to get to rank 20 and get some skill cert points and upgrade your kit to start to own then I think it would become a more enjoyable game for you confusion especially if we teamed up and got a some organization going into it (its easy to drift off and do your own thing being a big world to explore in the continents).

think we need something we can all enjoy, its about time we resurrected ourselves hell I'll re download jointops if it makes you all feel better, it must still be something going on in there tepa is on it most nights.

I can't do it yet. I have to put work first and I have to put my next few thousand quid towards buying/upgrading camera equipment as well as looking in to drone use for surveying. It's all a lot of money which has to take priority at the moment.
Saying that I am hoping that by the time Windows 10 is released I'll hopefully be about ready to upgrade then.

I don't think confusion is in much of a different boat with regards to PC spec. I know he's upgraded his GFX but like me, he cant do the rest without upgrading MB, Processor, Memory and maybe PSU all at the same time. In Plantside I was always CPU limited so I assume confusion will suffer the same as I did with lowish FPS and low settings (unless he's done a sneaky secret upgrade ) I have no interest in playing games with settings on minimum.

But as you pointed out. What game would we play anyway... (I notice you left BF out ) ?

I did try JO and couldn't get in to it again. I was playing alone though. If everyone else was on, maybe that would be different.

As for zombies, I think confusion might be basing his opinion of them on crappy COD Zombies which is a bore. Maybe L4D would be a different matter.

What games are coming out this year that are even a possible option to bring us all together again? I hope there is something but I'm not that hopeful.

PS - I'm the least picky B*****d here. I have played all sorts of games: I love:

Flight Sims : Microsoft FSX, Combat flight Sim.
Sim Racing: Project Cars, LFS but also enjoyed arcade Need for Speed Hot Pursuit
City Building and Management: Anno Series, SimCity, Age of Empires
FPS Multiplayer: BF, COD, Mainly war based (non futuristic) but like zombies too - Killing Floor.
Adventure / Puzzle Games: Myst Series, Portal, Alan Wake, Tales of Monkey Island, Day of the Tenticle, Mirrors Edge,
3rd Person: Batman series, Tomb Raider, Half Life 2, Left 4 Dead
RPG: Pirates of the Burning Sea, Skyrim, Dark Messiah of Might and Magic, Thief

Not a bad mix of games.... not picky

gonne keep playing ps2, its fun and jo-ish but the division has my interest something else than the fps we been playing the past years

PAULY I know the need to upgrade my last PC served me 5 yrs and coming to the end of its life it was sending me and I felt like getting with it, the wife arranged with my parents to allow me a huhum limited budget to build a new one in which I would pay back the money minus a GFX card that was already working, then when I bought and built it all guess what yes GFX needed a little helping hand being put into storage for a get me by hence the GTX 770 I have now.

not that I don't like third person shooters, the last time I played that type of game style it was on a Nintendo gamecube back in the late 90's and now I'm so used to FPS I don't think I can revert back to something like this.

although I am seriously going to get resident evil/biohazard HD remastered because this the game that got me into zombies in the first place, and I thouroughly enjoyed every second of playing it I would get to the end on the game cube wipe the memory card and do it all over again several times in a given week I'm a bit like that when I get a game I thoroughly enjoy.

I am going to adding to my rig in the spring to finish it off, sadly I hovered up my headset cable and broke it and cant replace that cable without spending silly money on a replacement from manufacturer, new headset is on the list, and so is another SSD and another 8GB memory and perhaps i'll give myself a new tower to finish it up all nice and tidy. As of 10 days from now i'll be on fibre broadband, Yes were moving into the 20th century from the 19th here in wales, shortly we'll have the 21st century hit us and then we'll be fucked . I don't care whether its war games, just NOT W.O.W hell i'll download cod zombie's just for a change if you want me to im just getting frustrated weve all sort of disbanded in ways, part of growing up and having responsibilities I suppose.
