Its a multiplayer game, but its more or less a survival game then a shooter like we know it.

Heard it's much like DayZ, haven't actually looked in to it at all, but if it is, it'll be a blast. DayZ was awesome but arma2 engine buggy pile of **** and coulnd't stand it after few weeks of play But the idea is awesome.

same thing, played dayz for a little while, but indeed crappy arma engine and mechanics blew it for me.
Now they making a stand alone Dayz aswell together with the ppl of arma, so mechanics and engine will be the same.

But this seems less tactical as arma, and also from what i've read will have some safe zone's etc.
So for me this is more my thing then dayz I geuss, but I love the concept

pré orderd it, cause its on sale right now , and I know I can't resist to try it.
Seems like I'll be getting some buddy keys with it aswell, so when I recieve them I'll hand them out, buddy keys give you acces for 2 days in the game.

Confu you understood wrong, the war Z is not an arma copy, that was what I was trying to say, i've played Dayz (mod for arma) that has the same idea setting, but thats basicly it where the 2 come close to each other.

The War Z has nothing to do with arma, or its developers. Runs on annother engine, not that tactical crappy movement and aim of arma etc....

Been able to put some hours in the alpha build.
There is allot of fixing to be done, and sertain features that are not in it, but I liked what i've seen and manage to do.

This game is not a game where you going to run around gun blazing shooting everything. Well you can, but you're going to die for sertain, and weapons are not that easy to find, and then you have an ammo problem.

For example first gun I found was a sniper rifle, only had 10bullets in it, so basicly every shot has to count.

Basicly this game is try to survive in an appocalyptic world where everything alive in the world (zombies or humans) are able to kill you. So trust is a big issue.
Also when you die you lose everything that you have one you. So you got to use some tactics.
But this made me fall in love with this game, you feel evil when you kill somebody, and your hart is pounding like crazy whenever you encounter another player, you never know whats going to happen, is he a bandit or is he just a poor fellow that is trying to survive...

Annyway what I noticed is, if you manage to group up with some ppl you get the advantage, you can protect yourself better.

I thought you liked long walks in the forrest, sneaking around in that special swedish ninja style of you killing of ppl when they least expect it. Or is that just me missunderstanding your kind of playing shooters

It sure sounds a lot like Dayz XD...but i've heard from someone else as well that it's better (has better graphics)

indeed loon, the basics are the same, and also the whole idea is the same.

Kind of like every FPS shooter is basicly the same .

Just differend engine, differend ingame mechanics...
But ya it looks allot better then dayz
